AFGE Sues Trump for Illegal Directive Outlawing Federal Unions

We have reached a dark and unprecedented crossroads for AFGE, for every federal worker, and indeed, for every working American.

At the stroke of a pen, this administration run by unelected billionaires attempted to end unions across nearly the entire federal government.

They want Americans to believe that union rights – your rights – represent a threat to national security.

Let that sink in. They are claiming that the fundamental right to join together, negotiate fair conditions, and speak with a united voice threatens our nation.

But whatever they say, AFGE isn’t going anywhere. We are going to fight this unlawful retaliation – and we are going to win.

Because they are coming after the rights to freedom of association, speech, collective bargaining, and dignity on the job of American citizens who patriotically serve their country every day.

It’s wrong. It’s un-American. And we will not let it stand.
